Our AGM was conducted by our MC for the evening, Committee Member Dr Jennifer Schafer. We were addressed by our President, Dr Hasthika Ellepola, our new Vice-President, Dr Andrew Cronin, and our Treasurer, Dr Manoj Bhatt.

We farewelled DiT member Dr Leanne Comino and welcomed Dr Holly Dignan as a new DiT member to our Management Committee.

We thanked our long-term partners Mater and Q4 Financial and welcomed Avant Mutual who have joined us in a new partnership.

Following the AGM, we were educated with very informative talks by Dr Gail Tsang on “Clinical Updates on SBRT for Prostate Cancer” and Dr David Schlect on “Radiation Therapy for the Treatment of Benign Conditions”. We then had the pleasure of getting an update on “Vision, Advocacy and Wins” from our AMA Federal President (and new BLMA member) Dr Danielle McMullen.

We were grateful to our long-term partners q4 financial for providing a lucky door prize of a $100 Visa Prepaid gift card. The winner announced a couple of days after the event as our AMAQ Vice-President, Dr Emilia Dauway (whom we were very pleased could fit our meeting into her busy schedule).

Dr Dilip Dhupelia gave us a short plug for the AMAQ Senior Doctor Conference (scheduled for 9 August 2025) at the end of proceedings.

As always, it was an extremely collegial evening, and we have received excellent feedback from many members.
